Hobbies:   I love to travel, read, cook, and play sports especially basketball :)
   
My Goals for the Class:  1. Help students develop self-confidence, independence, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities while collaborating with their peers.
  2. Encourage a commitment to be kind, helpful, responsible, and respectful to others in my classroom.
  3. Foster a true sense of inquiry and a love of learning in math.
   
Why I Love Teaching:  My mother taught for 42 years at the elementary level and I always looked up to her and thought that I would one day want to teach the way she taught to so many of her students.  I love working with children and I especially enjoy teaching math. I find teaching very rewarding because I get  to see my students succeed academically as well as, socially at the junior high level setting.
