Mrs. Richardson

Previous Schools:   
Education:  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education from the State University of New York at Oswego and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the State University of New York at Potsdam. I have my California certification in K-12 multi-subject and a supplementary authorization to teach  both English Grades 9 and below and Introductory Math Grades 9 and below.
Family:  I am married to my husband, Mark. We have four daughters. Three daughters are grown, Our youngest, Katherine, is a senior at Wheatland Union High School. We also have a Basset Hound named Bailey.
Hobbies:   reading, traveling, camping, hanging out at the beach (especially in Hawaii)
   
My Goals for the Class:  1. Help students develop self-confidence, independence, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  2. Encourage a commitment to be kind, helpful, responsible, and respectful to others. 
  3. Foster a true sense of inquiry and a love of learning. 
   
Why I Love Teaching:  I love teaching because I can learn as much from students as they learn from me. Each day is a new day of adventures and fun! Eighth grade is the best!
